ADHD & Wellness - with Josephine McGrail

Welcome to Speaking of Inclusion... the podcast that explores the ever-evolving angles of inclusion, helping you to move from curious and cautious to confident. I'm your host, Katie Allen, and today we have a positive and energetic conversation with the delightful Josephine McGrail about understanding ADHD.

In this episode, Josephine delves into the world of ADHD, sharing her personal experiences and shedding light on the challenges faced by individuals with ADHD. We explore different strategies for accommodating diverse working styles and creating inclusive environments. Josephine's expertise in bridging communication gaps between leaders, teams, and individuals adds a unique

perspective to the conversation.

This episode also includes a few minutes of a guided mediation tool that Josephine uses at 53 minutes in. Please do make sure that if you engage in this exercise, you are safely in a position to do so… so maybe not too intensely while you’re driving!

As you listen, I invite you to reflect on your own understanding of ADHD and what assumptions you are making about it, prior to listening.

Join us as we dive deep into the world of ADHD and uncover the keys to a more inclusive society. Are you ready?

Then let’s talk ADHD & Wellness on this episode of “Speaking of Inclusion..." with our special guest Josephine McGrail.

Josephine can be contacted via www.JosephineMcGrail.com and on Instagram as @JosephineMcGrail12

Additional notes: We refer in the podcast to EVP, and I am grateful to those of you that gave me the feedback that we didn't explain what this means. So... This stands for Employee Value Proposition. It's a term that is used in organisations, usually by recruiters or HR, to sum up all the ways in which that org is positioning itself as an employer of choice. It's the "what's in it for you" bit of their offer. Hope that is helpful!

All feedback is welcome, so if there any other terms of things that don't make sense - let me know and we'll make sure to cover them!
